2:49 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant in the 1100 block of Central Avenue, Dolores.

Saturday, Sept. 12

12:44 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 15200 block of County Road 33. Tool marks were observed on the door, and a game camera was missing.

Monday, Sept. 14

10:11 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving on a revoked license in the 21000 block of County Road G.

Tuesday, Sept. 15

12:37 p.m. A male inmate was served a warrant for contempt of court at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:12 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving on a revoked license and speeding in the 34000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

5:19 p.m. A man was arrested on warrants for violating a protection order and violating bond conditions in the area of Haycamp Mesa. He was involved in an argument with a woman he was restrained against.

Wednesday, Sept. 16

8:59 a.m. A female inmate was served two warrants for failure to comply at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:09 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault in the 41000 block of County Road H.25. He allegedly threw a rock at his stepfather during a verbal altercation. The rock struck the stepfather’s cheek and caused a bruise and some bleeding.

11:25 a.m. A male inmate was served a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:28 a.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for vehicular eluding, tampering with evidence, theft, driving under restraint, throwing missiles, speeding, reckless driving and improperly passing on the left.

10:22 p.m. A woman was arrested on two active warrants for failure to appear in the 6700 block of U.S. Highway 160. She claimed she had been attacked by three women and entered a business, setting off the alarm, in order to get help and call the police.

Thursday, Sept. 17

12:09 p.m. A woman was arrested on an extraditable warrant for forgery and theft in the 800 block of North Park Street.

1:09 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant for failure to appear in the 6000 block of County Road 23.6. The officer was conducting a sex offender residence check because the man’s mandatory registration had expired.

6:19 p.m. A possible protection order violation was reported at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. A male inmate attempted to send a letter to a woman who had a protection order against him. It will be investigated.

Friday, Sept. 18

9:07 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief in the 28800 block of County Road H. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and found the man in a closet.

Saturday, Sept. 19

11:10 a.m. Marijuana plants were reported stolen in the 23400 block of County Road F. Two previous incidents of theft were not reported. About eight plants were stolen and several others were damaged.

7:29 p.m. A woman was arrested on an active warrant after being detained on suspicion of taking pottery from a ruin in the 25300 block of County Road 7.25.

10:48 p.m. A domestic problem was reported in the 2200 block of County Road 21. The officer determined there was no evidence of a physical altercation.

Sunday, Sept. 20

11:59 a.m. A man was issued a summons for a vicious dog summons in the 25500 block of County Road N.6 Loop. Two dogs allegedly killed five chickens and wounded four others.

12:30 p.m. A crash on private property was reported in the 8400 block of County Road 17.7. Parties exchanged insurance information, and no charges were filed.

1:40 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of having a dog not under control in the 23900 block of County Road L. The man’s dog allegedly killed a neighbor’s chickens. He offered to pay restitution.

2:13 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of driving on a revoked license in the 17500 block of County Road 25. She had been reported for passing on a double yellow line. Her license had been revoked for a failed exam.

9:52 p.m. A violation of a protection order was reported in the 31800 block of County Road L. The reported was determined to be unfounded.

Monday, Sept. 21

7:11 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and speeding in the 8000 block of County Road 27.

Tuesday, Sept. 22

9:47 p.m. A man was cited for burning during a fire ban in the 1700 block of East Seventh Street. The fire was not being watched and had other debris around it.

Wednesday, Sept. 23

9:27 a.m. A woman was arrested on three active warrants for failure to appear at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

2:37 p.m. A woman reported damage to her vehicle in the 1700 block of East Seventh Street. She believed her ex-husband to be responsible for cut wires, slashed tires and a red liquid and trash being left in the interior. There was no evidence to prove who had caused the damage.

11:24 p.m. Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 24500 block of County Road F.8. About $20-$25 was taken and the suspect ran off when yelled at by the owner.

Thursday, Sept. 24

7:25 a.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of assault and violating a protection order in the 28300 block of County Road K.2. A struggle over keys caused a cut on a man’s face and a puncture wound to the woman. It was determined the woman initiated the altercation, which violated a protection order.

Friday, Sept. 25

11:34 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant out of La Plata County during a traffic stop for speeding in the 26000 block of County Road 27.

2:32 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of harassment in the 27500 block of County Road N. A dispute between a landlord and tenets led to an altercation.

Saturday, Sept. 26

11:07 a.m. A male inmate was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault against another inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. He struck another inmate, causing a laceration.

3:04 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of a vicious dog and a dog not under control in the 23200 block of County Road T. Two dogs attacked another dog. The attacked dog died.

Sunday, Sept. 27

9:34 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct in the 200 block of North 10th Street. A drunken man was walking in the roadway, yelling and cussing. Several complaints were made.

Monday, Sept. 28

7:41 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of violating bond conditions at the Alternative Sentencing Office, 730 E. Driscoll St. He arrived for a meeting intoxicated and a portable breath test indicated a level above the legal limit.

9:17 a.m. A missing license plate was reported in the 17000 block of U.S. Highway 491. The driver had hit a deer and later noticed the plate was missing.

4:53 p.m. A male inmate was served three active arrest warrants for 13 citations at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, Sept. 29

5:29 p.m. A male inmate was served an active arrest warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:05 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported in the 14000 block of County Road 20. An investigation indicated the report to be unfounded.
