9:07 p.m. A man was arrested for trespassing in the 6000 block of County Road 25. A man had returned home after going out for dinner, and he discovered the man in his home. The man held the suspected trespasser at gunpoint until a deputy arrived. The suspected trespasser was left in the custody of the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office.
Monday, April 15
8:09 p.m.: A woman reported her cellphone had been stolen from her house in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 160. The woman said other things had gone missing from her house earlier but she had not reported them.
3:23 p.m. Someone called the Sheriff’s Office to report a semitrailer carrying a mobile home had hit and knocked down a power line in the 12000 block of County Road 29.
Thursday, April 18
10:54 a.m. A man was issued a warrant for failure to appear in court in the 700 block of Driscoll St. The man was arrested and left in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.
8:04 p.m. A woman was issued a summons for driving with a revoked driver’s license after a traffic stop in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
Friday, April 19
9:34 a.m. A deputy transported a man from Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to the Montezuma County Detention Center on a court remand.
10:30 a.m. A deputy transported a man from Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to the Montezuma County Detention Center on a court remand.
Saturday, April 20
8:30 a.m. A man was arrested on two active warrants in the 2300 block of U.S. Highway 160. He was left in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.
10:19 a.m. A man was issued a summons for criminal mischief, second-degree assault and trespass after a deputy was called to the 14000 block of County Road 22 about a dispute between neighbors over the location of irrigation pipes.
9:07 p.m. A deputy issued three outstanding warrants to an inmate in the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Sunday, April 21
1 p.m. A deputy responded to a harassment call in the 400 block of Central Avenue. He was told by a woman that she was receiving unwanted calls, text messages and voice mails from her ex-husband. The deputy located the ex-husband and asked him to cease contacting his ex-wife. The deputy informed the man that if he continued to contact his ex-wife, it would be considered harassment or stalking. No charges were filed.
Monday, April 22
6:19 p.m. A man was arrested at the Ute Mountain Casino, 3 Weeminuche Drive, for violating a protection order and conditions of a bond. Several hypodermic needles were discovered on the man and in his backpack at the Montezuma County Detention Center. He was also charged with second-degree introduction of contraband.
