1:14 p.m.: A woman reported that someone had possibly broken her cat’s neck on the 25000 block of County Road T.5.
Monday, March 4
11:08 a.m.: A woman was arrested on a failure to comply warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
3:09 p.m.: A man turned himself in at the bond window at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a failure to comply warrant.
7:10 p.m.: The owner of the rescue shelter Running Dog Ranch on the 15000 block of County Road 30 in Dolores was issued a summons for dogs not under control after two people reported fearing four dogs that were barking and snarling. The woman who owns a large number dogs and the rescue stated she did not know her dogs could not be off the property without a lease.
Tuesday, March 5
4:46 p.m.: No charges were filed after a woman told the front desk at the Baymont Hotel, 2321 E. Main St., to call police. The woman and a man were intoxicated, and the woman said the man choked her. A sergeant determined that red marks on the woman’s neck were not consistent with an assault.
Wednesday, March 6
11:21 a.m.: A woman at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
11:28 a.m.: A man at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served three warrants.
3:19 p.m.: A man who said he never locks his 2018 Ford F-150 reported that someone had stolen a Ruger model New Vaquero .45 Long Colt revolver from his pickup.
4:13 p.m.: A man at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a warrant.
4:15 p.m.: A man at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a failure to appear warrant.
7:03 p.m.: An injured deer was reported at 89 Central Ave. in Dolores. A deputy found the deer was unable to get up and euthanized the animal with a single round.
Thursday, March 7
10:37 p.m.: A man was arrested on charges of possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools on the 7000 block of County Road 41. He was also arrested on an active felony warrant. He was found in a car that was reported stolen in Grand Junction. The car’s ignition had been punched, and there were various tools in the car, including a slim jim, which can be used to gain entrance to vehicles.
11:10 a.m.: A man at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
11:38 p.m.: A woman at Montezuma County Combined Courts, at 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a flight to avoid prosecution warrant.
8:27 p.m.: A woman at Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a failure to comply warrant.
Friday, March 8
5:03 p.m.: A man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant after a traffic stop on the 2000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
7:38 p.m.: A man was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and domestic violence after allegedly coming home to his wife drunk on whiskey, yelling at her and breaking a side mirror on a car on the 2000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
Saturday, March 9
1:45 a.m.: A man pulled over for speeding on the 30000 block of U.S. Highway 160 was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
Sunday, March 10
11:46 p.m.: A man in custody of a deputy in the Southwest Memorial Hospital parking lot, 1311 N. Mildred Road, attempted to run away while being escorted to the hospital. The deputy deployed his Taser to prevent him from escaping. He was arrested on a new felony charge of attempt to escape.

6:32 p.m.: A man at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served two warrants.
Tuesday, March 12
5:52 p.m.: A man at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served two failure to appear warrants.
