Thursday, Oct. 10

11:32 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a man remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Market St.

4:37 p.m. An officer arrested a man on suspicion of two counts of violating a protection order at 2611 E. Empire St. The officers reported that the man was yelling at him like something from the movie “Gladiator.” He told the officer that he just got out of jail and walked straight to the residence to get his belongings and all his stuff was all over the ground outside.

6:19 p.m. Officers arrested two brothers at the East Y, 2500 E. Main St., on suspicion of violating protection orders prohibiting them from possessing or consuming alcohol. Officers were investigating a report that a man fell out of a truck, which rolled into a ditch. When the officer asked the man next to the truck whether he had fallen out of the truck. he said did not. When the officer asked why he was covered in dirt, the man responded that is how he always is.

10:18 p.m. An officer who pulled over a car at South Ash Street and East Main Street that lacked a front license plate and had dark window tint. The officer reported that the passenger was known to be restrained from the driver, and when other officers arrived to arrest the man for a protection order violation, he fled from the scene of the traffic stop.

Friday, Oct. 11

8:10 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant at the Wiggi Wash, 1115 E. Main St.

Saturday, Oct. 12

1:22 a.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant after clearing a traffic stop outside of C & G Healthcare Management, 1004 E. Main St. The officer stated that he heard a groan come from the man, who was lying intoxicated in the doorway, and then arrested him on a warrant.

3:06 a.m. An officer arrested a man on suspicion of DUI, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and criminal impersonation at the TruWest Auto Dealership, 333 S. Broadway. The man reportedly drove through multiple traffic signs and hit a parked Jeep in the dealership lot and when the officer asked the man for his name he gave him a different last name.

11:58 a.m. An officer arrested a woman on a warrant in the 200 block of South Madison.

Sunday, Oct. 13

1:50 a.m. An officer took a report after a business alarm at 111 N. Park St. The business owner verified that nothing was missing or damaged, and the owner stated that several items, including a single gray shoe, were left in one of the rooms. When the officer returned to the police station, the other shoe was on his desk; another officer had found it in a trash can at Veterans Park, and noticed that a man known to police officers was seen walking around with no shoes. The officer stated he would issue the man a summons or request a warrant.

10:19 p.m. An officer arrested a man at 1104 E. Main St. on suspicion of violating a protection order against consuming or possessing alcohol or controlled substances. The officer’s report also states while being placed into the back of the patrol unit, the man stated he did not want to get in because there was a Skinwalker in the back seat.

Monday, Oct. 14

1:21 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant at the Maverick Country Store, 455 N. State St.

8:51 p.m. An officer cited a man with trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.

Tuesday, Oct. 15

8:25 a.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant and suspicion of violating an alcohol protection order in the 100 block of North Park Street.

7:06 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant, cited him with obstructing a peace officer, and issued a never expiring trespass order at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.
