9:01 a.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 400 block of South Sligo Street.
7L50 p.m. The rear window of a vehicle was broken in the 40 block of West Main Street.
Thursday, Jan. 7
1:50 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of having a dog running at large in the 700 block of South Oak Street. The dog chased a cat up a tree.
6:42 p.m. Harassment was reported in the 200 block of South Market Street. A man was allegedly harassing the family of a man who had just passed away and accused them of murdering him. There was no evidence found to validate the claims of murder.
9:43 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of violating a protection order at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. She had been previously trespassed from the property.
Friday, Jan. 8
9:06 a.m. Threats were reported in the 25 block of North Madison Street. The threats stemmed from a dispute over money. The reporting person was advised to seek a protection order.
2:51 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of second-degree assault on a peace officer or EMS provider, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree assault and harassment in the 300 block of East Fourth Street. He was attempting to fight people in passing vehicles and resisted arrested, biting and scratching an EMS provider.
3:54 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving with a revoked license, careless driving and unsafe backing in the 1500 block of South Cedar Street. He was also served a warrant out of Denver.
9:33 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of shoplifting and trespassed from the property at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.
11:56 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, harassment and criminal mischief in the 500 block of South Madison Street. He allegedly punch a door, a wall and a woman’s face.
Saturday, Jan. 9
6:01 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of stalking, attempted first-degree burglary, harassment and prohibited use of weapons in the 600 block of Wyoming Street. The man allegedly harassed a woman and refused to leave the property, making threats against her while in possession of a firearm.
4:11 p.m. A license plate was reported stolen in the 1800 block of East Main Street.
6:56 p.m. A vehicle was broken into and the side window was broken in the 600 block of South Oak Street.
10:53 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault on a peace officer, second-degree criminal trespass, resisting arrest and harassment in the 600 block of Cottonwood Street. He was allegedly harassing employees and resisted arrest by elbowing an officer in the head.
Sunday, Jan. 10
1:59 p.m. Graffiti was painted on the wall of the restrooms at Parque de Vida, 400 N. Mildred Road.
5:07 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and third-degree assault in the 2500 block of Fairway Drive. A verbal argument became physical and the man allegedly pushed a woman.
Monday, Jan. 11
1:27 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of trespassing in the 900 block of East Main Street.
10:14 a.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 100 block of East Roger Smith Avenue.
2:50 p.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 100 block of West Main Street.
Tuesday, Jan. 12
5:49 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of careless driving and failure to provide proof of insurance in the 400 block of South Madison Street. She allegedly backed into another vehicle.
10:44 p.m. A warrant was requested for a man on suspicion of criminal attempt of first-degree assault on a peace officer, vehicular eluding, speeding, weaving and reckless driving in the 400 block of East Main Street. The man fled from multiple officers at speeds in excess of 90 mph and attempted to disrupt an officer’s vision with a green laser. Colorado State Patrol arrested the driver without incident.
Wednesday, Jan. 13
10:32 a.m. Counterfeit money was found in a rental property in the 70 block of South Veach Street. It was turned over to police.
2:36 p.m. An injured woman was reported in the 500 block of East Main Street. She later said she fell on ice and hit her head.
8:41 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and violating a protection order in the 500 block of East Second Street. The man allegedly contacted his wife and consumed alcohol, which a protection order prohibited.
Thursday, Jan. 14
2:22 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and domestic violence in the 36000 block of U.S. Highway 160. He allegedly hit and broke a window of a woman’s residence.
12:23 p.m. Property damage was reported at a business in the 600 block of South Broadway. A vehicle was vandalized and a bike was stolen. Several suspects were caught on surveillance footage.
10:10 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault in the 500 block of West Main Street. He was caught on surveillance footage hitting a fellow employee.
Friday, Jan. 15
10:53 a.m. Fraud was reported in the 1800 block of East Main Street. Someone claiming to be selling a bulldog puppy accepted payment but did not show up at the meeting to exchange the puppy.
11:12 a.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street.
5:37 p.m. A man was arrested on a felony warrant in the 800 block of Brookside Drive.
6:06 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, careless driving and failure to provide proof of insurance in the 1000 block of East Main Street. The man was involved in a vehicle crash and suspected of being under the influence.
7:51 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence in the 2600 block of East Main Street. He allegedly assaulted his father and pushed and struck his girlfriend.
Saturday, Jan. 16
9:51 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of shoplifting in the 2200 block of East Main Street.
12:41 p.m. A travel trailer was broken into and slept in on the 2500 block of South Broadway.
6:12 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of trespassing in the 2300 block of East Main Street.
7:59 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply in the 1400 block of Mesa Verde Street.
Sunday, Jan. 17
3:06 a.m. A bag of pills was found and turned over to police in the 900 block of East Main Street. Tests revealed the pills to be caffeine pills.
12:14 p.m. A fence was damaged in the 300 block of South Market Street.
Monday, Jan. 18
9:13 a.m. A vehicle break-in was reported at a dealership in the 100 block of South Broadway. A fence was cut to gain access to the lot. A vehicle window was broken and a firearm and possibly other items were stolen. Vehicle parts were also stolen. A suspect was captured on surveillance footage.
6:37 p.m. A stolen vehicle was located in the 2300 block of East Main Street. The couple occupying the vehicle said it was a mistake, but the vehicle was impounded.
Tuesday, Jan. 19
2:57 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of felony habitual domestic violence and violating a protection order. He was located inside the protected woman’s residence.
