Parents will be able to learn about clubs available to their child
The School Community Youth Collaborative will host a parent club engagement night at Cortez Middle School on Thursday. This informational evening will allow parents to learn about which clubs their student can participate in.
The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., before the CMS Community Showcase Night. Parents are asked to enter through the front of the building if they wish to attend the informational meeting.
Some of the clubs offered that will be discussed are the theater program, board game club, chess club and fitness club.
If parents can’t attend this upcoming informational meeting, SCYC also will host dates on Thursday, Dec. 19 and Thursday, Feb. 27.
