Our newly appointed county commissioner bemoans the lack of citizen participation in the local governing process.
Perhaps he could look within his party and its catchphrase and informal motto.
Nobody wants to show up to participate, only to be told, “If you don’t like the way we do things here, go back to where you came from!”
