The Bluejays (8-1, 5-0 in Mountain League play) had no problems finishing up an unbeaten Mountain League run against the Sargent Farmers, winning 60-6 on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs (7-2, 3-2 in A-8 Mountain) couldn’t keep pace with the visiting Mustangs in a 41-18 loss, in spite of a multi-touchdown day for junior Nicholas Aragon.

Looking to defend its state title, Mancos ranks fourth in the final CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index rankings entering the postseason, meaning the Jays would play at home through the first two rounds.

Dove Creek finished the regular season as the No. 8 team in the CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index.
