One of the reasons why our POTUS is traveling to discuss gas spigot issues with Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud is because we are way behind in providing all Americans with electric vehicles, unlike the vision of Henry Ford offering affordable transportation to the everyday low-paid working classes. The rich could afford something more impressive than a Model T and today drive Teslas or other pricey electric cars.
The rich depend on the low-paid working classes to clean their yards/homes/high-rises, wash dishes in five-star eateries, and don't want any interruptions by these workers that can't afford gas to get to work. So an uncharacteristic decision by President Biden is to head to a big gas producer that provided 15 terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001, and has a terrible human-rights record.
How hypocritical of Biden, denying invitations to other dictatorships with human-rights issues half as bad as Saudi Arabia to an L.A. conference for the Americas in June 2022.
How do outrageous decisions affect us these days?
The younger generation needs to do better with human rights everywhere than their numbed-out rich or poor parents to keep Mother Earth from hitting us with an asteroid of mass destruction.
