Congratulations on a job well done
Securing pure Water is priority one
Water after all is what we’re made of
70% Water, the rest is dust, rocks and love
It’s a ton of work to get Water so pure
with mining minerals and toxins, for sure
But when we finally get our Water so clean
We put in some bleach, and a toxin so mean
Chlorine and Fluoride we think are just fine
We’re told they are different than what comes from the mine
But Chlorine is bleach, there’s no doubt in this case
And Fluoride is simply industrial waste
It’s an old idea that needs to be changed
They both poison our bodies and affect children’s brains
The science is clear for the last 20 years
It’s time we paid attention and shifted our gears
So yes, it’s about getting pure Water to the tap
But it’s essential to consider what we do after that
Just because something has almost always been done
No reason to think it’s good for anyone
So when it is time for new changes to come
Speak up to city councilors
And get this undone.
