Repairs went smooth and no schools were affected
The water leak in Aztec on Tuesday, was a minor leak that was repaired within a few hours, according Ruben Salcido, deputy director of the Public Works Department.
The department announced Tuesday morning that water would be shut off in the Pioneer Heights Area for the rest of the day to repair a broken water line.
Salcido said the affected water main gate was identified, and repairs went smoothly. Only a few households were affected.
No Aztec schools were affected as a result of the water leak and necessary repairs.
