Who do you want to represent you in the Colorado state Legislature? Someone who’s been there and has been a resident of Southwest Colorado for more than 40 years? Or someone who moved here a year ago from Texas?
Do you want someone in Denver who will protect women’s rights? Or do you want someone who believes women are second-class citizens?
Do you want someone in the Colorado House of Representatives who will bring more teachers to rural Colorado? Or do you want a carpetbagger from Texas who knows nothing about how Colorado’s schools are run?
Do you want someone representing you in Denver who has taught children in the classroom and who is a former Colorado Teacher of the Year? Or do you want someone who recently left her home state of Texas and thinks she’s qualified to represent in Colorado?
The answer to all of these first questions is incumbent Barbara McLachlan. She is the clear choice to continue serving the people of Southwest Colorado. Don’t let some Texan think she knows more than what you know about Colorado.
