I am not a town of Mancos resident so I will not be receiving a Mancos Vision Survey. Which is too bad, since for the last 20-plus years, I have been shopping and eating in Mancos.
I live about 6 miles to the west. So for me, Mancos is a convenient place for groceries, gas and other services. I believe that Mancos would be better served if they included those residents who are in the Mancos Valley since (just guessing) they may make up a third of those who shop and eat and utilize other facilities in the town.
When working to develop a vision for the future, diversity of opinions is a plus. By including those who live in the Mancos Valley in the survey, diversity is increased.
