Video store defies trend

Fifteen years ago, Bill Stogsdill decided to take an early retirement as a Chicago glassblower, and he relocated his family to Mancos. In 2001, he and his wife, Juanita, opened Valley Video in Mancos. Today, the operation has bucked the nationwide trend of failing video stores, and it boasts a catalog of 8,000 flicks.
