‘Victims of own good intent’

U.S. for us? That is the question. It seems that we have become the victims of our own good intent by allowing our representatives and social media to so polarize our society, we are endangering all that we really care about. We cannot follow a method that categorizes us as simply left or right, then pressures us to vote accordingly because there are critically important things that we must resolve.

Climate change can steal a livable planet from future generations. Inability for everyone to get a fair shake in life can destroy our ability to work together to make a better world. Greed can make life so complicated that many of us will not prosper. In the end, it is our own will and desires that must prevail, not those of media cynics and politicians. We can solve the difficulties we face today by not casting our vote based on one issue but rather on deep consideration of the virtues or consequences of the many issues that confront us.

There is so much more that we can agree on so let’s take care of each other and our planet so that life will be good for future generations and all of us.
