As of May, Vestal Dental Team has come under new ownership and even boasts a new name. Now, the clinic, which has been renamed Alpine Dental Care, is owned and operated by Dr. Warren Pyle.
Pyle told The Journal that he was raised in Cortez and has been eager to return and raise his family here after dental school.
Pyle shared that he and his wife, Ingrid, have three children, Temperance, Byron and Georgia.
“It was kind of always the goals for me to bring my family back after dental school, and we found out from Dr. Vestal a couple months ago (that he was selling the clinic.) He reached out to me after I had sent him an email that said, ‘Hey, if you are ever considering selling or anything like that, let me know,’ and it just happened to be the best time for him as well,” Pyle said.
“It just happened to be serendipitous for both of us, good timing for us and good timing for him as well,” Pyle said.
While Pyle expressed his excitement of providing dental services in Cortez, he also expressed looking forward to raising his family in the community where he grew up.
“It means the world to me,” Pyle said. “It’s the community where my parents grew up, it’s the community where I grew up, and to be able to give back to that community, help out, own a business and be ale to raise my family is tremendous.”
Pyle emphasized that the team at Vestal’s will remain on staff, and services will continue as normal.
“I couldn’t ask for a better team to work with,” Pyle said. “Everybody that works with me there is fantastic, and it’s all the same people Dr. Vestal had. My plans are not to really change a whole lot other than add some other procedures. I have no plans of right now to really change anything.”
Additionally, Pyle’s father was former physician in Cortez, furthering their legacy in Cortez’s medical community.
Before coming to Cortez, Pyle graduated from dental school in 2020 and worked in Glendale, Arizona.
While there are many facets to the dentistry profession, Pyle said he is passionate about using dentistry to help people.
“I love working with patients and helping people, and most specifically, I like being able to come back to my hometown to do it,” Pyle said.
