A team of two students, Cruz Hernandez and Erin Lawrence, recently qualified for the Colorado State Science and Engineering Fair. They will travel to Fort Collins April 1-4.
Their research was on Aquaponics. While qualifying to compete at the state level, they also won a special award for their statistics at the regional science fair in Durango.
Hernandez and Lawrence are seventh graders at Montezuma Cortez Middle School.
