SouthWest Colorado Concerts will present the Young Irelanders in concert at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Montezuma-Cortez High School auditorium, 418 S. Sligo St.
Young Irelanders are a troupe of young musicians and dancers who are world-class performers of traditional Irish song and dance. Members have performed across six continents and for numerous heads of state, including Irish and U.S. presidents, royalty of the United Kingdom, Prince Albert of Monaco and many European leaders.
Whether it be one of the standards like “Galway Bay,” the foot-stomping beat of Kerry polkas or a stirring air inspired by the Cliffs of Moher, the Young Irelanders deliver a performance that transports the audience to a small Irish folk festival.
Tickets are $10 for youth, $25 for adults and $50 for season tickets. Tickets may be purchased at the door. For more information, visit www.swcoloradoconcerts.org, Julie Ayers at 882-1284 or Eric Wilson at 739-8508.
