The Valley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center to Host Community Easter Egg Hunt

A celebration featuring an Easter Bunny, will be held on March 29, from 2-3 p.m., at The Valley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center at 211 E. Third Ave., in Mancos.

The Valley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, the 110-bed skilled-nursing facility in Mancos, will host a community event featuring Easter events for children, their families, and facility residents.

Residents at the center will hold a bake sale to benefit The Bridge Emergency Shelter, 735 N. Park St., in Cortez.

This free, festive gathering will take place at the facility’s campus at 211 E. Third Ave. in Mancos on March 29. Games start at 2 p.m., the Easter Egg Hunt starts at 2:30 p.m., and the bake sale benefiting the Bridge Emergency Shelter is 2-3 p.m. Festivities will include a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. Kids can enjoy an old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt with prizes hidden in the eggs.

“We always enjoy hosting local families at our campus for Easter festivities,” Ashlee Monarco said In a news release. “Not only do our residents look forward to these celebrations, but they help cement the close ties between our facility and the wider community.”
