Help me understand Lord
I don’t know the reason why
For I’ve lost my precious loved one
And my mind is all awry.
As I seek to understand Lord
Did you need them more than I?
Oh, I wish I knew your plan Lord
And I knew the reason why.
Someday I’ll know the answer
When to heaven I shall go
From my faith and hope in you Lord
And the grace you do bestow
I shall hug them in Your kingdom
When I see their body’s healed
In heaven they will be complete
And the reason then revealed.
