This Saturday the Lindells will playing their beautiful, dark, scary, folk-pop, roots-rock & blues music at the Sunflower Theatre in downtown Cortez.
Over the past three decades, the Dolores-based group has developed a style of music that is uniquely their own. Their musical explorations are versatile and adventurous, possessing a deep fondness and reverence for the best of Americana music.
The live experience has it all, ranging through blistering instrumentals, ’60s garage and country rave-ups to folk noir and electric bluegrass, with super-human guitar interplay and mind blowing psychedelic expeditions that can end up anywhere. Their vocals are clear and prominent, with lush harmonies and a rich, full sound that’s deep and wide.
The Lindells are known for their powerful performances, from intimate shows at coffee houses to theatres like the Sheridan Opera House.
They have delighted audiences of thousands at summer celebrations like the Wildflower and Telluride Bluegrass Festivals.
Drums and upright bass feature Ole Bye of Vera Chrome and Chuck Barry of The Beautiful Losers Society.
