He felt a sudden thump
far off in the depths of his mind.
A subtle tremor.
But what had moved was so
immense that he was stunned
by the sudden awareness that it
had been a part of him.
Like a tiny boat set adrift
for the first time from a
previously unperceived anchor
he felt his consciousness soaring up
spreading out beyond
enormously distant horizons
like a fragile, faintly glowing
parabolic mirror reflecting all.
He was free!
