Thanks for all the help at Ag-ceptional Rodeo

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the teachers and kids that attended or intended to attend the third annual Ag-ceptional Rodeo for kids with disabilities, at the 37th Four States Ag Expo.

I would also like to thank all the people and other board members who volunteered to help during the event: Karen from Farm Bureau for donating bandanas for the kids; and Ben from CALF, which made special arrangements for the kids so that they could visit the barn to see and touch the animals; and the shuttle drivers for transporting the kids from barn to barn.

I also want to thank the Montezuma County Mounted Patrol and Brandi Lyons for stepping up to fill in for Maddy with her Mustangs and Zebra. Because of the storm and bad road conditions, she was unable to safely pull a large horse trailer and make it to the event on Thursday, for which she was greatly disappointed.

Thanks to all the organizations that donated a monetary amount to the event and to the Ute Mountain High School Rodeo Team for making the lunches for the kids.

Cindy Clare, board member and co-organizer of the event
