A big “Thank You” to everyone who helped make the Dolores Public Library 2017 “Build A Better World” Summer Library Programs a success!
We had 135 youths from 1 to 16 years old register for the summer library programs. There were more than 30 programs this summer ranging from Storytime to Sushitime as well as Build A Better Meal and multiple Buildtimes featuring different types of building activities.
Special thanks go out to volunteers Kamea Neal, Desirae Bellairs, Kathy Henek and Peach; program experts Sam Bridgham, Brett LeCompte, Brandon Shubert, and Rebecca Flemming; and special event performers and guests Matthew Henry Hall, Steve Weeks, and Marikay Shellman. We are especially grateful to the local businesses and facilities such as Dolores Food Market, Osprey Packs, Kokopelli Bike & Board, Moose & More Artisan Ice Cream, Stonefish Sushi & More, Cortez Recreation Center, and Cortez Municipal Pool for donating prizes to celebrate the effort and achievement each child made participating in the summer library programs.
