Dear Hon. Chief Justice John Roberts,
Now that Donald J. Trump has been indicted for crimes against America and us – the American voters – please, grant the American people the right to view the most consequential trial in our country’s history. A fully televised trial allows each American (and the world) to see the evidence and hear any testimony from Trump, should he choose to profess his innocence by testifying in open court for all the American people and the world to see.
A fully televised trial would prevent the usual talking heads from (mis)characterizing the evidence and trial in their own view. We’ve already seen the Big Lie cost Fox News nearly a billion dollars, with likely at least a billion more dollars to be paid out based on promoting the Big Lie. Every American should be allowed to see – and hear – the evidence against Trump for themselves.
