State Sen. Mike Foote, D-Boulder, is coming to Mancos in a few weeks to talk about National Popular Vote, a movement to circumvent the Electoral College in the presidential election.
Foote represents the 17th district in eastern Boulder County in the Colorado General Assembly. He is part of a coalition group supporting the National Popular Vote.
The event is hosted by the League of Women Voters, and will take place at the group’s monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 5, at the Mancos Public Library. The league’s meetings are open to the public.
