Mountain Range Fitness nutrition coach Erin Kuhlman will host a six-week summer challenge to help participants prioritize health and fitness while learning more about nutrition and how to reach their goals.

“We do quite a few different challenges throughout the year, and this one we’ve essentially built around a nutrition guide that I have created for Mountain Range Fitness. So, that’s really the great value. Any individual that signs up for the challenge gets a guide to take with them, even post-challenge,” Kuhlman told The Journal.

The cost of the program is $100 including supplies and assistance.

The program can be tailored to each participant, and there are 40 slots total, with 10 in each category. The categories are women’s weight loss, men’s weight loss, women’s muscle gain and men’s muscle gain.

“You do not have to be a member of Mountain Range Fitness to participate,” Kuhlman said. “We would love to get to know many more individuals out in the community that are looking for some advice or just looking for a place to better themselves, and we want to better them as well.”

Registration will remain open until the slots are filled until the deadline of July 15.

The challenge includes three rules: drink a gallon of water per day, follow the included nutrition guide and complete the 45-minute daily workout.

Participants are given a nutrition guide and are asked to calculate their goal macros before scheduling a fit body 3D scan at Mountain Range before July 15.

“So I build a goal for them and then we get a baseline scan,” Kuhlman said. “It’s a fit 3D scan, so it gets all the lovely measurements that we probably don’t want to see, but it’s good to see. It measures body fat, weight, muscle tissue and does your posture, which is actually kind of cool as well. We’ll use that as the initial setup and then we’ll do the scan again to see where you land (at the end).”

Participants also have the opportunity to schedule 30 minutes with Kuhlman to review their macros. They can complete a Google each day to track progress, and at the end of six weeks, there will be a final body scan.

“I want to build a plan to see the different outcomes of that (nutrition) guide,” Kuhlman continued. “That’s how I designed it. For me, it’s a science experiment.”

All who participate will receive a free MRF nutrition guide to use post-challenge .

Prizes will be offered to the winners in all four categories: a choice of $500 of MRF’s built for life program, $150 off a nutrition program or $100 off personal training, plus MRF swag and 1st Phorm products.
