7:21 a.m. A deputy served an active warrant to a male inmate at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:01 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Court, 865 N. Park St., to remand a man into custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
11:19 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 21600 block of County Road 36 about a break-in. A homeowner reported a man who appeared to be on drugs knocked on the door and said he was being pursued by people. The homeowner said he was in the bathroom and in possession of a firearm that belonged to the homeowner. The homeowner said the man had told him he needed a rifle to defend against people who were chasing him and trying to kill him. The man got his rifle to defend the man and told the man to get in his bathroom. As the man went into the bathroom, he pulled the rifle out of the homeowner’s hands. When deputies arrived, they asked the man to drop the weapon and come out with his hands up. The man complied. The man’s pupils were dilated, his speech was slurred and he appeared paranoid. The man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and prohibited use of a weapon. He was medically cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

8:42 a.m. A deputy served an active warrant to a female inmate in the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
9:46 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to serve a man an active warrant. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
12:20 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:33 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 18400 block of Colorado Highway 145 about a dog at large. A man was issued a summons for unlawful ownership of a dangerous dog.
3:09 p.m. A deputy issued two active warrants to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 865 N. Park St.
4:27 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a female inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 865 N. Park St.
4:52 p.m. A deputy was dispatched about a report of a dispute between neighbors in the 6000 block of U.S. Highway 160. The deputy found the dispute to be unfounded.
Thursday, Nov. 7
4:41 p.m. A deputy issued two active warrants to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 865 N. Park St.
6:05 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 18300 block of Colorado Highway 145 about a report of an intoxicated man. The deputy observed the man yelling profanities and banging on a door at a home. The man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
Friday, Nov. 8
5:17 a.m. A deputy was called to the 30900 block of County Road G about a report of an unwanted person. A home guest was intoxicated and had tried to enter the homeowner’s room at night. The guest and homeowner continued to argue for several hours, and the guest hit the homeowner. The homeowner was worried for her safety and locked herself in the bathroom. When the deputy arrived, he discovered the intoxicated home guest on the couch. The man failed to comply with a deputy’s orders. He slurred his words and appeared intoxicated. The man was arrested on third-degree assault and left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.
11:10 a.m. A deputy took a report about a stolen firearm from a man who had come to the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office headquarters, 765 N. Park St.
Monday, Nov. 11
8:08 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Railroad Avenue in Dolores about a crash. A man was cited for following to closely after rear-ending another vehicle.
Tuesday, Nov. 12
10:18 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 11900 block of County Road 24.4. A deputy took a report of three batteries that were stolen from a dump truck. The deputy listed the case as inactive with no leads.
