3:32 p.m.: A woman who lives at a residence in the 16000 block of County Road 22 was assured that her brother would return items that she had reported stolen.
Thursday, Oct. 13
3:28 p.m.: A female driver was pulled over on Railroad Ave. in Dolores because of incorrect use of a turn signal and arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and a controlled drug. A male passenger armed with a .22 caliber handgun was released to his grandmother.
Friday, Oct. 14
4:03 p.m.: A landlord reported finding a pipe filled with BBs at a residence in the 12400 block of County Road 41 in Mancos, and mistook it for a possible pipebomb.
3:18 a.m.: A female driver was pulled over at Woody’s Gas Station on U.S. Highway 160 cited for expired license plates and no proof of registration of insurance. A police dog alerted to a possible illegal substance in the vehicle, but a search came up empty.
Sunday, Oct. 16
11:03 a.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of menacing after a domestic disturbance in the 23600 block of County Road F.5 in which he brandished a knife. His wife was treated for a foot injury after being dragged by his car as he attempted to leave the scene.
Monday, Oct. 17
2:25 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of menacing and violating a protection order after a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 23700 block of County Road G.
5:01 p.m.: A man was served a warrant while in custody at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.
7 p.m.: A woman was transported from the Chief Ignacio Detention Center in Towaoc to the Montezuma County jail.
4:40 p.m.: A man was served a writ of restitution at a residence in the 21000 block of County Road 36. An eviction is scheduled at a later date.
Tuesday, Oct. 18
2:25 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at a residence in the 23700 block of County Road G. Because of bruises and scrapes on her face, she was medically cleared, and a deputy reported to Navajo police her claim that she had been beaten by her former boyfriend in New Mexico.
10:30 a.m.: A woman at a residence in the 11800 block of County Road 22 reported that her daughter, who had left her home with a 17-year-old boy the night before, had returned and was in good health.
10:55 a.m.: A deputy attempted to deliver a writ of restitution a residence in the 11400 block of County Road 38.5 in Mancos, but nobody was home.
11:14 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault after a report of domestic violence at a residence in the 25100 block of County Road L.
10:55 a.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:40 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St.
6:05 p.m.: A woman was cited for driving without proof of insurance and a valid license in an unregistered car in the 200 block of U.S. Highway 160.
Thursday, Oct. 20
5:57 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at Hunan restaurant, at 2561 E. Main St.
5:46 p.m.: A woman was cited after a loose dog allegedly bit a neighbor in the 13100 block of County Road 35.9.
Friday, Oct. 21
3:13 p.m.: A deputy helped Colorado State Patrol officers collect license plates and clear the scene of a three-car crash on U.S. 160 near the Montezuma County Fairgrounds.
Saturday, Oct. 22
4:28 p.m.: The Antique Corral, 6817 U.S. Highway 160, reported a possible theft but could not say what might have been stolen.
Sunday, Oct. 23
1:15 p.m.: A man was arrested on an active warrant and cited for driving 79 mph in and 65 mph zone and driving with a revoked license, the it had not been confirmed that his license had been revoked.
9:40 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, obstructing a highway and failing to provide proof of insurance after he was seen walking in the middle of the 45000 block of U.S. 160 in Mancos, dressed only in shorts and socks.
10 p.m.: A deputy searched for a lost purse in the 400 block of Railroad Ave. in Dolores.
11:59 p.m.: A deputy investigated a report of an attempted theft of cigarettes at the Giant gas station in the 500 block of Railroad Ave. in Dolores.
Monday, Oct. 24
11:36 a.m.: A manager and two employees at Hillside Apartments, 300 N. 15th St. in Dolores reported that a resident loudly complained to two apartment employees.
