9:50 a.m.: A deputy pulled over an SUV with a partially obstructed license plate in the 12000 block of Colorado 145. The female driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Wednesday, Feb. 3
4:47 a.m.: A deputy responded to the county jail at 730 E. Driscoll St. to escort a man who was turning himself in on warrants for failing to appear in court for an assault case and violation of a protection order.
11:57 a.m.: A deputy responded to the Second Chance Thrift Store in Dolores on a trespassing call. The suspect was found at the Dolores Mountain Inn, and arrested on suspicion of suspicion of violating a protection order and resisting arrest.
Monday, Feb. 8
11:01 P.M.: A deputy arrested a woman in a home in the 24000 block of County Road M on outstanding warrants in a drug possession case and an identity-theft case.
Tuesday, Feb. 9
10:27 a.m.: A deputy called in a two for an unattended vehicle in the eastbound lane of County Road P.5.
9:20 a.m.: A deputy responded to the Montezuma County Court and arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant.
Thursday, Feb. 11
3:18 p.m.: A deputy visited a home in the 15000 block of County Road 21 to assist a man who said he couldn’t open his locked gun safe. The deputy confirmed that there were no warrants for the safe, allowing the man to request the combination from the safe company.
6:34 p.m.: A deputy patrolling the area of Mildred and Empire streets pulled over a driver to inquire about nonworking taillights and cited him for driving with a cancelled/denied driver’s license and no proof of insurance.
Friday, Feb. 12
11:29 a.m.: A deputy responded to a call at 700 block of E. Driscoll St. to investigate a possible fraud by check. The case was referred to Oklahoma City police.
1:15 a.m.: A deputy dispatched to County Road BB and U.S. 491 killed a wounded elk with his handgun and removed the elk from the roadway.
Saturday, Feb. 13
4:58 p.m.: A deputy responding to a disturbance at the Riverfront Bar and Grill in Dolores arrested a man on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
Sunday, Feb. 14
4:16 p.m.: A deputy responded to a report of an assault at the Montezuma County jail and issued an inmate with a summons for third-degree assault.
4:09 a.m.: A deputy responded to a possible assault call from Southwest Memorial Hospital. A follow-up call to the alleged co-combatant concluded that both parties had been aggressive, and no one was charged.
Monday, Feb. 15
5:45 a.m.: A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance in the 28000 block of U.S. 160 and cited a man for third-degree assault, domestic violence, criminal mischief and violation of a protection order. A victim’s advocate was called to assist a woman.
5:52 p.m.: A deputy responded to a call about a bill skip at the Rio Grande Hotel in Dolores but was unable to locate the accused man and woman.
7:39 p.m.: A deputy reported to the county jail to assist a man who was turning himself in on an outstanding warrant.
9:18 p.m.: A deputy responded to the county jail to assist a woman who was turning herself in on an outstanding warrant for failure to comply.
