3:35 p.m. A man threw something hard at his girlfriend – a rock or a snowball – and broke her leg in the 41000 block of Colorado Highway 184 in Mancos. She repeatedly tried to leave to seek medical attention, and he repeatedly dragged her back into the house by her hair to stop her. 10:58 a.m. A woman dropped her wallet beside her car when she went to use the toilet at the Ute Mountain Rest Area, 33001 U.S. Highway 160, and it was stolen. Grainy footage shows an unidentifiable man pick it up, look through it, see the reporting party, run back to his car and drive away. She had $280 cash in the wallet as well as her Social Security card, among other things.
