12:28 p.m. A deputy took a report for the theft of a bicycle in the 23400 block of County Road D, in Cortez.

Monday, Nov. 4

1:43 p.m. An deputy took a report for domestic violence from a woman in the 15000 block of County Road CC. The deputy’s report states he obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man who the woman said gave her a black eye, which the officer could see through her makeup.

Tuesday, Nov. 5

10:50 a.m. A deputy took a report for the arrest of a man who was remanded on a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

4:14 p.m. A deputy took a report for the arrest of three men who were remanded by Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The deputy’s report states that one man was arrested on a warrant for failing to comply, one man was arrested after being sentences to 180 days for a DUI charge, and the third man was sentenced to serve 57 days for a second-degree criminal trespassing charge. The men were placed into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.

Wednesday, Nov. 6

2:40 a.m. A deputy reported he stopped a man for driving with one headlight then cited the man with driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license and failure to present insurance upon request in the 23000 block of County Road G.

9:35 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on two warrants who was remanded by Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

Sunday, Nov. 10

4:10 a.m. A deputy conducting a traffic stop for speeding, arrested a woman on suspicion of driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, speeding 10-19 over the posted speed limit, driving a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 or more, and failure to provide proof of insurance at 321 S. Broadway.
