1:34 p.m. A deputy took a report for a vehicle theft at 27726 Road M in Dolores.

Saturday, Sept. 28

4:38 p.m. A deputy took a report for theft of a mobile home at 29418 Road J. 6 in Cortez.

Monday, Oct. 7

9:54 a.m. An officer took a report from a woman for harassment at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., Cortez.

Thursday, Oct. 10

1:25 p.m. A deputy took a report of a vehicle crash at 1301 Central Ave., Dolores. A man was cited with unsafe backing after his vehicle struck the passenger side of another vehicle as he was backing onto the street.

Friday, Oct. 11

12:20 p.m. A deputy served five warrants to a man being taking into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, Oct. 12

6:43 p.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen green rail dune buggy at 19888 Road U. 6, Lewis.

Sunday, Oct. 13

1:01 a.m. A deputy cited a man with possession of drug paraphernalia at 1 East Mike Wash Road, Towaoc. The deputy’s assistance was requested by the Bureau of Indian Affairs law enforcement for assistance with a nonnative who was suspected of being in possession of a meth pipe.

1:34 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on suspicion of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Road 25 and Marina Road in Dolores. Initially the man was reported as lying on the ground outside his vehicle unconscious. When the deputy arrived the man was unconscious in the driver’s seat of a running stationary vehicle parked in the middle of the northbound lane of County Road 25.

10:43 p.m. A deputy took a report from a woman who stated she was hit in the face with a door at 28260 U.S. Highway 160. The woman was requesting a protection order and charges to be filed against her grandmother, who allegedly slammed a door in her face.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

2:43 a.m. A deputy arrested a woman on suspicion of driving a vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 or more in an alley between Madison and Washington on First Street in Cortez.

Thursday, Oct. 17

2:23 p.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., Cortez.

Friday, Oct. 18

7:32 a.m. A deputy arrested a woman on a warrant and issued her a trespass notice at the Love’s Truck Stop, 7006 U.S. Highway 160, Cortez.

Monday, Oct. 21

5:45 p.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man turning himself into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll Street, Cortez.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

11:05 a.m. A deputy arrested a woman on a warrant who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts at 865 N. Park St., Cortez.

3 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts at 865 N. Park St., Cortez.

5:02 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts at 865 N. Park St., Cortez.
