Saturday, Aug. 31

3:37 p.m. A deputy took a report for a theft of miscellaneous items in the 14300 block of Road 29, Dolores.

Sunday, Sept. 1

3:18 p.m. A deputy took a report for felony burglary of a residence and criminal mischief for damages of a property at 103 N. 18th St., Dolores. The homeowner stated a tenant was evicted Saturday, Aug. 31, and upon inspecting the property at 2 p.m. the following day an upstairs bathroom sink was plugged and water was left running, causing property damage estimated between $50,000 to $100,000. The deputy’s report states an arrest warrant will be requested for the evicted tenant.

Saturday, Sept. 7

10:17 a.m. A deputy took a report from concerned parents of finding a white substance in a baggie in the property of their teenage son’s girlfriend that was within the reach of a toddler in the 23000 block of Road P, Dolores. The deputy’s report states the test for the substance returned as inconclusive for drug-related substances and submitted for destruction.

Tuesday, Sept. 10

3:11 a.m. A deputy performing a routine traffic stop for a nonfunctioning taillight arrested a woman on suspicion of DUI, driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, failing to present insurance upon request, and tail lamps and reflectors at 2320 E. Main St.

6:12 p.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen mailbox at 22951 Road M.

6:35 p.m. A deputy served two warrants to a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:25 p.m. An officer took a report for a suspected restraining order violation in the 10200 block of Road 28.2.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

3:44 a.m. A deputy performing a routine traffic stop on a truck with no license plate cited a man with drove a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, failure to present insurance upon request, driving without license plates, and expired registration at 2101 S. Broadway.

Thursday, Sept. 12

9:28 a.m. A deputy took a report for a wallet found in the 23100 block of U.S. Highway 491, Pleasantview.

Saturday, Sept. 14

3:41 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, and careless driving at the corner of Colorado Highway 145 and Road P in Dolores.

7:47 p.m. A deputy took a report from a deputy of possible narcotics that were removed from a woman in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
