Friday, Aug. 9

10:24 a.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen blue 1985 Honda motorcycle in the 31300 block of Road L, Mancos.

9:04 p.m. A deputy took a report from a woman after three of her vehicles were broken into at a property in the 24000 block of Road F, Cortez.

Saturday, Aug. 10

10:45 a.m. A deputy took a report for a hit-and-run in the 18400 block of Road 27, Dolores.

Wednesday, Aug. 14

7:58 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on suspicion of possession of weapons by a previous offender, possession of a weapon while under the influence, drove a vehicle DUI-alcohol/drugs/both, and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11612 Road 44, Mancos. After the sheriff’s office received a report of an unconscious male in a running vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the road.

Thursday, Aug. 15

12:40 p.m. A deputy cited a man with careless driving at 19848 Colorado Highway 145, Dolores.

Friday, Aug. 16

11:38 p.m. A deputy responded to a law enforcement agency assist at Sky Ute Casino & Resort, 3 Weeminuche Drive, Towaoc. The deputy arrested a nonnative man on a warrant and cited him with introducing contraband in the second degree after finding a pipe with a clear residue on the man during the booking process.

Sunday, Aug. 17

12:11 a.m. A deputy arrested a woman on suspicion of driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both, careless driving, open alcohol beverage container, duty to report accident, and financial responsibility in the 17000 block of Road 20. The deputy stated in his report that he could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath when he located her in the vehicle that was off the side of the highway in a ditch when he arrived on the scene. The deputy’s report states she claimed she had not been drinking after being assisted by the deputy to the road where his patrol vehicle was located and there were three empty shooter bottles in the front passenger seat, a bag of marijuana, two 12-ounce beer cans behind the driver’s seat.

Tuesday, Aug. 20

6:40 p.m. A deputy took a report for an unfounded report of domestic violence in the 34960 block of Road T, Dolores.

8:22 p.m. A deputy took a report for domestic violence in the 38000 block of U.S. Highway 160, Mancos. The deputy stated in his report there was liquid splattered all over the passenger side of the vehicle the reporting woman was sitting in when the reported incident occurred, and the woman told the deputy she was hit with a 20-ounce Pepsi bottle and he observed she had swelling and a bruise was forming on her left jaw and cheek. The deputy reported he obtained an arrest warrant for the woman’s boyfriend of six years.

Wednesday, Aug. 21

5:19 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman on suspicion of driving under the influence in the 18000 block of Colorado Highway 145, Dolores.

Thursday, Aug. 22

3:03 p.m. A deputy took a report for a found handgun in the 28100 block of Road T. 5, Dolores.

8:56 p.m. An officer assisted a Colorado State Trooper as a cover officer as the trooper arrested a man under suspicion of DUI at 4050 U.S. Highway 160.

Friday, Aug. 23

11:25 a.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, Aug. 24

12:33 p.m. A deputy took a report for an active fight relayed from dispatch that was unfounded in the 15300 block of Road 18.

9:04 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on suspicion of violating a no-contact, no-exceptions restraining order while in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:31 p.m. A deputy took a report for a break-in at 9180 Road 27. A man reported that he woke up to the sound of his refrigerator closing and discovered an unknown man in his home. He declined to press charges.

10:10 p.m. A deputy took a report for a disturbance in the 14000 block of Road 37, Mancos.

Monday, Aug. 26

3:44 a.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man turning himself into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:47 a.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man turning himself into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

9:40 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant in the 24400 block of Road G.1.

3:30 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on three warrants in the 1500 block of Mesa Verde St.
