7:20 p.m. A deputy responded to assist a Colorado State Trooper during a traffic stop in the 22000 block of Road S, Dolores. The deputy reported that the trooper arrested a man on a warrant. The deputy said in his report that he identified the man’s passenger and released the man’s vehicle to her, but she told him she couldn’t drive a manual transmission vehicle, so he moved the car for her to a safe location until a family member could assist her.
3:23 p.m. A deputy issued trespass notices to a man and his wife after a report from their neighbor requested they be trespassed from his property in the 100 block of Breanna Lane, Dolores. The property owner stated in the report that the couple has been coming onto his property harassing his workers. who were building a retaining wall between his property and the Dolores River.
4:54 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman on a warrant who was remanded by Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
11:18 a.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man being transported into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
11:35 p.m. A deputy took a report for a spontaneous 1 ton hay bale fire in the 23500 block of Road E. The deputy reported about 30 bales of hay were damaged by being stored damp and spontaneously combusting after it rained on the hay bales at the entrance of the pole hay barn.
4:22 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on suspicion of violating a no-contact, no-exceptions protection order and domestic violence in the 26100 block of Colorado Highway 184. The reporting party stated in the deputies report that a female ran to her door bloody and looked in bad shape and said the woman told her she had been assaulted by her boyfriend and that she had jumped out of a moving vehicle to get away from him. The deputy included in his report that the man who was arrested and the woman who was assaulted have been in a 10-year on-and-off relationship, and have an active protection order between them.
5:11 p.m. A deputy took a report for serving four warrants to a man who was turning himself into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
