1:03 p.m. A deputy placed a concrete saw into evidence that was found in the middle of the road in the 25000 block of Road L.

Saturday, June 29

7:41 p.m. A man was arrested at 94 Central Ave. on suspicion of felony menacing and violating two protection orders that state he shall not possess or consume alcohol.

7:46 p.m. A deputy took a report for unsafe target practice that involved property damage in the 24200 block of Road T, Dolores. The reporting party declined pressing charges but requested his neighbor repair his damaged property and the firing range that is operated on her property so fired munitions no longer penetrate or damage his property.

Thursday, July 4

11:42 p.m. A deputy responding to a reported disturbance at a residence in the 6500 block of Road 24 arrested a man on suspicion of third-degree assault, domestic violence and drove a vehicle while license restrained.

Sunday, July 7

7:42 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant and suspicion of a protection order violation in the 1400 block of S. Cedar St.

Monday, July 8

2:47 p.m. A deputy charged a detained woman with third-degree assault after a deputy reported being spit on by her at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:25 p.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen vehicle in the 20500 block of U.S. Highway 491, Lewis.

Tuesday, July 9

11:203 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on suspicion of third-degree assault on a peace officer in the 25900 block of U.S. Highway 491, Pleasantview.

1:20 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

5:50 p.m. A deputy took a report for a water easement issue reported in the 44600 block of U.S. Highway 160, Mancos.

Wednesday, July 10

10:54 a.m. A deputy took a report for a rental vehicle that was reported stolen from Leadville that was returned to a U-Haul contractor in the 7500 block of U.S. Highway 160.

3:03 p.m. A deputy took a report for a suspected gunshot wound causing fatalities to several sheep in the 25400 block of Road 18, Pleasantview. The deputy was able to determine with the assistance of a Department of Wildlife officer that the wounds were consistent with a coyote attack and were not gunshot-inflicted wounds.

3:39 p.m. A deputy served a warrant to a woman in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Sunday, July 14

11:42 a.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen vehicle in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160. The deputy stated in the report that a warrant would be issued to the suspect who is the girlfriend of the reporting party on charges of domestic violence, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and protection order violation.

Monday, July 15

10:44 a.m. A deputy took a report for possible drugs found within a storage unit in the 6800 block of Road 24.

1:43 p.m. A deputy took a report for a lost firearm in the 21000 block of Forest Service Road 526, Dolores.

2:50 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

5:45 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant who was remanded by the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

Tuesday, July 16

12:30 a.m. A deputy took a report for a shoplifting incident at Love’s, 7006 U.S. Highway 160. The deputy arrested a man on a felony warrant and issued him an indefinite trespass notice. The woman accompanying the man was also issued an indefinite trespass notice.

10:59 p.m. A deputy assisted a San Miguel County deputy in the 18000 block of Colorado Highway 145 in apprehending a semitrailer driver who was suspected of road rage.
