12:02 p.m. A deputy arrested a man who was remanded into the custody of the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

7:08 p.m. A deputy served a warrant to a woman in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:26 p.m. A woman was cited with dog not under control in the 23600 block of Road F. 5 after witnesses corroborated a man’s statement that her dog bolted past her, onto the man’s property attacking him and his dog. The man suffered injuries from the woman’s dog biting his hand and falling on a gravel road in an attempt to get away from the dog.

Friday, June 28

1:28 p.m. A deputy served a man a warrant who was being transferred into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:43 p.m. A deputy cited a man with careless driving in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

4:37 p.m. A deputy took a report for property damage in the 21200 block of Road W.

6:10 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman on a warrant in the 300 block of Central Ave.

11:07 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol near the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, June 29

12:47 a.m. A deputy responded to an agency assist call for a Colorado State Patrol trooper who arrested a man on suspicion of DUI in the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

3:33 p.m. A deputy cited two men in a verbal and physical altercation in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160 with disorderly conduct.

11:36 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on suspicion of violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol or controlled substances in the 16000 block of Colorado Highway 145.

Sunday, June 30

11 a.m. A deputy took a report for a dog issue in the 41700 block of Colorado Highway 184.

Tuesday, July 2

2:51 p.m. A deputy took a report for a possible witness tampering incident in the 11500 block of Road 25, the report was unfounded.

4:22 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman who was remanded into the custody of the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. on a failure to appear warrant and transported her to be placed into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:57 p.m. A deputy cited a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. with violating a no contact, no exceptions protection order.

8:21 p.m. A deputy took a report for a structure fire caused by bad wiring in a recreational vehicle in the 5400 block of Road 25.

Thursday, July 4

3 p.m. A deputy took a report for his provision of assistance to a Colorado State Patrol trooper investigating a DUI in the 25000 block of Road H.

10:40 p.m. A deputy took a report for a 911 hang-up in the 6500 block of Road 24. The deputy stated a highly intoxicated woman stated she was attacked while attempting to stop another highly intoxicated woman from driving off the property with her four children. The deputy noted a child had been locked in the vehicle and that the injured woman did not want to pursue charges against the other woman.

12:23 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant while patrolling the 12000 block of U.S. Highway 491.

Sunday, July 7

2:54 p.m. A deputy took a report for a vehicle fire in the 11000 block of U.S. Highway 491.

Monday, July 8

9:28 a.m. A deputy took a report for a missing handgun that was found and returned to the owner who lost it while on a cattle drive route on U.S. Forest Service Road 560.

12:38 p.m. A deputy served a warrant to a woman in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:57 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on a warrant at 1580 E. Main St.

1:28 p.m. A deputy took a report for a found wallet in the 200 block of S. 4th St.

3:48 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman who was remanded into the custody of the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. on a failure to appear warrant and transported her to be placed into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
