Friday, May 3

4:59 p.m. A deputy took a report for illegal trash dump at 1323 Railroad Ave. after a woman reported that there were no trash cans along Riverside Parks trail system and when she was walking noticed there were four trash cans floating on the riverbank.

Saturday, May 11

8:10 p.m. A deputy took a report of animal abuse from a woman in the 10500 block of U.S. Highway 491 who suspected her neighbor shot her cat in the back, because when she moved into the property he told her he shoots stray cats. Her cat had to be euthanized because of its injuries.

Friday, May 31

7:13 p.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen orange and black Wen 2250 Inverter generator at 13464 Road W.

Saturday, June 8

6:30 p.m. A deputy took a report for a home burglary where the homeowner had the suspect held at gunpoint at 6520 Road 24.5. The suspect was described in the deputy’s report as a “skinny lady with a shaved head running down the driveway.” According to the deputy’s report the woman was arrested, but no charges were stated.

Sunday, June 9

10:13 a.m. A man was arrested on two warrants for failure to comply and cited with trespassing in the 26000 block of Road P. The man reportedly was threatening to burn a woman and her child in their home in the 14000 block of Road 26, while they occupied it.

Monday, June 10

6:47 p.m. A deputy took a report for contraband found at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. Two men were charged with possession of contraband in the second degree. A third man was charged with introduction of contraband in the second degree and unlawful distribution.

7:11 p.m. A deputy took a report for a motorcycle crash in the 51000 block of U.S. Forest Road 556.

7:33 p.m. A deputy took a report for a hit-and-run by a dump truck from Countryside Disposal at 11934 Road 39.2.

Tuesday, June 11

9:25 a.m. A deputy took a report for an dog attack that caused the fatality of a 4-H pig valued at $1,500 in the 21900 block of Road N.

12:19 p.m. A deputy arrested a man on two warrants who was remanded into the custody of the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

12:32 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman on two warrants who was remanded into the custody of the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

Wednesday, June 12

1:49 p.m. A deputy served warrants to three individuals transported into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. from another agency. A woman was served a warrant for failure to appear warrant. A man was also served a failure to appear warrant. Another man was served warrants with charges of harassment and domestic violence.

11:41 p.m. A deputy responded to an agency assist for the Colorado State Patrol in the 6700 block of U.S. Highway 160. The deputy reported a man was arrested by CSP under suspicion of DUI.

Friday, June 14

2:44 a.m. A deputy responded to an agency assist for the Mancos Marshal’s Office for an in-progress domestic violence call in the 800 block of Second Ave. The deputy stated in his report that both a man and woman at the residence were arrested under suspicion of assault, harassment, and domestic violence.

Saturday, June 15

10:47 a.m. An officer took a report for found property containing a tinfoil with black marks on it consistent with fentanyl paraphernalia in the 16000 block of Road 24 in Dolores.

4:20 p.m. A deputy took a report for a semitrailer accident in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Sunday, June 16

9:46 a.m. A deputy served a DUI warrant to a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:50 p.m. A deputy took a report for a break-in at a property from a woman in the 28200 block of U.S. Highway 160.
