11:42 p.m. A deputy took a report for a possible assault in the 900 block of N. Mildred Road.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

8:53 p.m. A deputy took a report for a suspected shoplifting incident and a violation of a trespass order at the Dollar General, 23890 County Road G, in Cortez.

Monday, Feb. 26

11:14 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of operating an unregistered vehicle and an uninsured vehicle, and driving without a valid driver’s license in the 300 block of N. Broadway, he was released with a summons.

Tuesday, Feb. 27

10:40 a.m. A deputy arrested a man for a warrant at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

11:34 a.m. A deputy arrested a man on a traffic warrant at 806 S. Oak St.

5:21 p.m. A deputy conducting a routine traffic stop in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 160 arrested a man on two warrants for failure to appear.

9:49 p.m. A man with a driving permit was arrested under suspicion of no insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle in the 24000 block of Road G. He was released with a summons.

Wednesday, Feb. 28

9:26 a.m. A deputy took a report for a vehicle crash involving two semitrailers in the Love’s Travel Stop parking lot, 7006 U.S. Highway 160. A man was cited with failure to report an accident involving damage and for leaving the scene of an accident.

11:32 a.m. A deputy took a report for an unintentional machinery/industrial arson, after an outdoor propane oven used to sterilize soil caught fire at The Herbal Alternative, 1531 Lebanon Road.

10:59 p.m. A man with a warrant for failure to appear turned himself in to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, Feb. 29

4:57 p.m. A deputy took a report at 250 N. Monte St. from a person of interest for a possible arson that happened in the Mancos area.

Saturday, March 2

1:28 p.m. A deputy served a warrant to a woman in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Monday, March 4

2:24 p.m. A deputy served three warrants to a woman in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:08 p.m. A man with a warrant for failure to comply, turned himself in to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
