Sunday, Jan. 21

7:08 a.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen vehicle that had been recovered in the 8300 block of Road 40.1 in Mancos.

Sunday, Feb. 4

6:58 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of nine counts of first-degree criminal trespass, criminal attempt of second-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, motor vehicle theft in the third degree, criminal possession of a financial device, criminal possession of an identification document, theft/larceny from mail, and criminal attempt of first-degree criminal trespass after multiple reports of burglaries were made in the 12000 block of Road 29. The man stated he was being kicked out of his parents’ home and said, “I smoke and I need some money for that.”

Sunday, Feb. 11

5:03 p.m. A deputy took a report for an agency assist for a hit-and-run that happened in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St. The suspected vehicle’s license plate was retrieved from the scene, the vehicle that was seen in surveillance footage fled the scene of the accident and was located by the address of the registration on file.

Wednesday, Feb. 14

12:06 p.m. A deputy took a report for a domestic problem involving a protection-order violation in the 200 block of Central Ave., in Dolores.

2:54 p.m. A deputy took a report for an abandoned vehicle in 23000 block of Road E. The vehicle was towed by Mancos Towing after multiple attempts to contact the owners were made .

Thursday, Feb. 15

11:07 a.m. A woman was cited with no proof of insurance in the 500 block of Central Ave, in Dolores.

12:27 p.m. A deputy took a report for a stolen U-Haul truck in the 300 block of Central Ave. in Dolores.

3:21 p.m. A deputy at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., took a report for a missing woman from a man whose fiance left to Arizona the week before, and she hasn’t responded to texts or phone calls. The man disclosed to the officer that “They were in an intimate relationship for a month prior to her leaving.” The man later reported to a different deputy that he made contact with the missing woman’s aunt, who stated the missing woman was on her way to check into a rehabilitation center in Denver.

Friday, Feb. 16

9:05 a.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:58 p.m. A deputy took a report for identity theft from a woman who was assisting her daughter with her certified nursing assistant license in the 24400 block of Road L when she learned her daughter’s Social Security number was being used for employment in Durango.

Saturday, Feb. 17

9:13 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 38000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Sunday, Feb. 18

9:52 a.m. A man was arrested on a warrant after a report for suspicious activity was received in the 5600 block of Road 25.

Monday, Feb. 19

3:49 a.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order, driving under revocation, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving under the influence of alcohol 0.08 per se in the 13000 block of Colorado Highway 145 in Dolores.
