4:47 p.m. A deputy took a report of possible protection order violation at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, Nov. 9

8:47 p.m. A man turned himself in to the Montezuma County Detention Center 730 E. Driscoll St. on a warrant.

Saturday, Nov. 11

12:18 p.m. A man was arrested at 2564 U.S. Highway 160, Cortez on suspicion of violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol beverages.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

3:20 p.m. A man was remanded from the court at 865 N. Park St. to the Montezuma County Detention Center 730 E. Driscoll St. after being sentenced to 18 months in the Colorado Department of Corrections.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

4:05 a.m. A deputy issued a speeding ticket to a man who was driving 72 mph in a 40 mph zone at 21000 Road G, Cortez.

9:29 p.m. A man who was observed weaving over the fog line, flipping off other drivers as they passed him and intentionally increasing/decreasing his speed at intersections was arrested on suspicion of drove vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, failed to maintain lane, and was served a Colorado Express Consent Affidavit at 33000 U.S. Highway 160 in Mancos.

Thursday, Nov. 16

8:06 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, third degree assault and harassment strike shove kick at 37130 U.S. Highway 160, Mancos.

Friday, Nov. 17

8:57 p.m. A deputy took a report from a man and woman that were seen by a reporting party to be in a domestic violence dispute, no charges were filed in the reported incident at 14000 Hwy 145, in Dolores.

1:13 p.m. A deputy responded to a fire that took down a shed and started from a compost at 15981 Road 31, Mancos.
