Thursday, June 22

2:24 p.m. A woman in the 28000 block of Road T noticed her vehicle had been damaged. Sometime between 7 p.m. the night before and 7 a.m. in the morning someone drilled a hole in the gas tank and stole the gasoline. The estimated total of damage is $1,150.

Saturday, June 24

3:06 p.m. A woman at Speedway in Dolores, 501 Railroad Ave., allegedly took four packs of cigarettes and a 12-pack of alcohol shooters without paying. The total value of the items is $44.35.

Wednesday, July 5

4:53 a.m. A man in the 24000 block of Road F. 5 was arrested on three warrants.

Thursday, July 6

2:33 a.m. A man involved in a two-car crash in the 40800 block of U.S. Highway 160 was cited with DUI.

9:03 a.m. A man noticed 20 gallons of gasoline had been siphoned out of his work truck in the 19000 block of Road 19. At some point in the last two months, someone had spilled white primer in the vehicle and taken the magnetic signs off the doors.

Friday, July 7

11:58 a.m. A man in the 11800 block of Road 24.4 and his father engaged in a physical struggle. The father did not wish to press charges.

Saturday, July 8

9:54 a.m. A man in the 7300 block of Road 24.3 noticed his chain-link fence had been cut in several spots, which left gaps in the fence.

1:58 p.m. A small field and two structures caught fire in the 13000 block of U.S. Highway 491. The fire allegedly was started by a woman who was trying to burn trash in a 55-gallon drum. She was cited under Resolution 7-2021, which imposes a fire ban.

Sunday, July 9

12:38 p.m. A man went to a business in the 12000 block of U.S. Highway 491 and told to leave. The man returned a short while later and got in the back of a truck. The man was confronted by the shop owner, and the owner pulled out a gun and told the man to leave the property again. The truck had belonged to the man but had been taken by a towing company because of nonpayment. The man was cited with first-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree criminal trespass.

5:52 p.m. A woman in the 28300 block of Road K. 2 drove a 4-wheeler to her ex-fiances house and took his dog. On Monday, July 10, the woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order and domestic violence.

Monday, July 10

4:49 p.m. A brush fire in the 14500 block of Road G destroyed an abandoned outbuilding.
