8:52 a.m. A man in the 26800 block of Road L noticed his vehicle was damaged and that two locks on his gate had been cut. The fuel pump and sending unit had been taken from the vehicle.
7:10 p.m. A woman in the 25500 block of Road T. 5 noticed her bolt cutters were missing. She believes they were taken by her son and used to get into a storage trailer. The lock showed no signs of damage, and MRE’s were missing from the trailer, but they might have been taken to a man she had said could have them.
10:45 a.m. A man in the 26600 block of Road N was contacted by someone claiming to be Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, and was told he had won $25 million. The man was instructed to pay the FBI with gift cards so that he can receive his winnings. The man sent over $1,000 in gift cards over a period of months to the people he was told were the FBI. To convince the man, the person who claimed to be the FBI, sent photo of a YouTuber reviewing a prop FBI badge.
11:52 a.m. A man in the 23400 block of Road M found his neighbors had switched a hose and pine into a secondary ditch, diverting water off his property and onto theirs. This man turned over footage of the incident to an officer. The case was forwarded to the District Attorney because of pending litigation between the man and his neighbors over the ditch.
3:41 p.m. A dog with vision issues bit a woman at a campsite in the 26900 block of Frontage Road 272. The woman received minor injuries and is friends with the owner, so she asked no charges be pursued.
9:31 p.m. A woman who works at Mesa Verde National Park, 34900 U.S. Highway 160, was reported missing by her father. The woman had left in the morning to return to her home in Grand Junction but was not answering phone calls.
7:09 p.m. A woman turned herself in on a warrant to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
1:05 p.m. A man in the 21000 block of Road F noticed his center pivot spray had been shot nine times. The estimated cost of repair is $1,000.
2:21 p.m. An officer served warrants to three man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. Two man were served one each and another man was served three.
7:26 p.m. A man yelling slamming doors at a residence in the 28300 block of Road K. 2 was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order with alcohol restrictions.
8:39 p.m. A man trying to build a fence in the 41400 block of Colorado Highway 184 was attacked by a man whose trailer was blocking construction. The man from the trailer shoved the man building the fence into a truck twice and used a hatchet to destroy a cease-and-desist order. The man was arrested on suspicion of assault and intimidation.
8:46 a.m. An officer assisted a Mancos Marshal with a warrant arrest in the 200 block of East Menfee Street in Mancos.
