11:14 p.m., A man involved in a rollover in the 8000 block of Road 41 was arrested on suspicion of DUI. While being medically cleared for jail, he allegedly became belligerent and claimed to be a Mancos firefighter.
4:12 p.m., A dog wounded a sheep in the 7500 block of U.S. Highway 160. The sheep was put down by the responding officer, and the dog’s owner was cited with unlawful ownership of a dangerous dog.
11:17 a.m., A person reportedly left $20 under a money box and took a game system from a home in the 25500 block of County Road H.
6:52 a.m., An abandoned vehicle in the middle of the roadway in the 14000 block of Road 18 was impounded. The vehicle’s windows were broken, and groceries, a gas can and a pellet gun that looked like a Glock 17 were found in the vicinity of the vehicle.
4:24 a.m., A turning semitrailer hit another semitrailer in the Towaoc Travel Center, 1 E Mike Wash Road. No major damages were reported.
11:42 a.m., A man at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 735 E. Driscoll St., on charges of DUI with three or more prior convictions.
8:35 p.m., An unknown person left a backpack at the bonding window of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. The backpack contained toiletries and clothes.
9:59 p.m., A man trying to enter someone’s home in the 26000 block of Road M was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order that restricts him from possessing or consuming alcohol.
10:54 p.m., A woman who might have been hit by a car in the parking lot of Vista Verde Village, 28260 U.S. Highway 160, denied needing help or having any injury. The driver of the car denied a collision occurred.
2:02 p.m., A woman in the 9000 block of Road 29 was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
5:40 p.m., An officer served two warrants for failure to comply to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. The bond for each warrant was $1,500.
11:24 a.m., A theft was reported at Antique Corral, 6817 U.S. Highway 160. However, the owner reviewed the footage and could not tell whether anything was missing. She requested no charges be pursued.
9:57 a.m., A woman pulled over for driving 78 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 1800 block of Road Y was cited with suspicion of speeding, reckless driving and reckless endangerment. The woman stated the four children in her car had wanted to feel their stomachs lift when going over the hills.
