7:34 p.m. A deputy collected an abandoned gun in the 10400 block of County Road 29.

Tuesday, May 17

3:38 p.m. A man reported that his girlfriend was scratching him and destroying his property at his residence in the 18300 block of Colorado Highway 145, Dolores. A deputy sought an warrant for the woman.

4:11 p.m. Home security footage showed a man burglarize guns from a couple’s residence in the 17700 block of County Road 26, Dolores. The man was taken into custody, and deputies attempted to return the guns.

Thursday, May 19

11:34 a.m. A woman reported that a woman stole two puppies from her residence in the 7200 block of Road 25. A deputy determined the report to be unfounded.

Saturday, May 21

1:51 a.m. A man reported that his son hit him and threatened to shoot him in the 14400 block of County Road 21. A deputy determined the son was defending himself. No charges were pursued.

5:19 a.m. A bear rummaged through a trash can outside Dolores Elementary School, 1101 Central Ave., Dolores.

7:38 p.m. A woman was cited for drinking and driving after she was pulled over for swerving erratically in the 17000 block of Colorado Highway 145, Dolores.

1:22 p.m. A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at G-Whil Liquors, 24001 Road G.2.

Monday, May 23

7:49 a.m. A man was cited for driving without a license after he was pulled over for speeding in the 200 block of South Ninth Street, Dolores.

Tuesday, May 24

11:08 a.m. A woman was remanded from Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

Wednesday, May 25

12:51 a.m. A deputy assisted a Colorado State Patrol officer as he investigated a head-on crash in the 24900 block of U.S. Highway 491, Pleasant View.

11:14 a.m. A woman reported that she hadn’t gotten any mail and thought it could’ve been stolen from the box in the 14900 block of Road 26, Dolores. A deputy determined the report to be unfounded.

3:41 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 865 N. Park St.

4:21 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 28100 block of County Road M, Dolores.

Friday, May 27

10:51 a.m. A woman was served with two warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

2:38 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

10:50 p.m. A man had a camp fire near the intersection of Forest Road 559 and Forest Road 561, Mancos. A deputy informed the man of the fire ban, and the man put the fire out.

Saturday, May 28

2:38 a.m. Two neighbors reported that a man’s dogs were barking in the 36000 block of Colorado Highway 184, Mancos.

3:45 p.m. A woman was served two warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:41 p.m. A male inmate hit a television with a broom at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. He was cited for criminal mischief.

5:09 p.m. A woman was arrested on three outstanding warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Monday, May 30

4:22 p.m. A deputy towed a stranded boater at McPhee Reservoir, 28000 Forest Road 271.
