12:20 p.m. A deputy collected guns from the roommate of a man who was prohibited from owning a firearm in the 800 block of Second Avenue in Dolores.

Friday, April 15

3:49 p.m. A man was arrested and cited for domestic violence and harassment after he reportedly hit his wife and grabbed her by the neck in the 36600 block of Road K.3.

Monday, April 18

8:09 a.m. An employee reported that two propane tanks were stolen from Family Dollar, 1009 Railroad Ave. in Dolores. There were no leads.

9:12 a.m. A deputy assisted a sergeant as he took a man and three juveniles into custody and seized two stolen guns and drugs from a car during a traffic stop in the 1900 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Tuesday, April 19

10:55 a.m. A driver reportedly swerved and skid to a stop on the shoulder in the 1500 block of East Seventh Street. Two of the car’s occupants had outstanding warrants and were taken into custody. The driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Paraphernalia and illegal weapons were found in the car.

5:52 p.m. A man was cited and released after he was reportedly shot a gun out of a car in the 42600 block of County Road N.

Wednesday, April 20

12:53 p.m. A man reported that items were stolen from his car in the 16100 block of Road 28.2. There were no leads.

2:21 p.m. A man’s car reportedly caught on fire in the 7300 block of Road 24.3. Firefighters did not have any reason to suspect intentional cause.

4:34 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend’s mother pushed her during an argument in the 25400 block of Road S.6. No charges were pressed.

Thursday, April 21

10:03 a.m. A woman reported an assault in the 11000 block of County Road 20. The woman changed her story, and witnesses stated that nothing physical occurred. No charges were pursued.

10:59 a.m. A man was remanded from the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.

12:17 p.m. A male inmate was issued summons for harassment after surveillance showed him punching an inmate in the face at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:33 p.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, April 22

9:28 p.m. A stolen car was found abandoned in the 25000 block of County Road G. The owner was going to pick it up.

Tuesday, April 26

8:04 a.m. A woman was cited for having dogs at large after her dogs reportedly jumped her fence and ran at a woman and her dog in the 17900 block of Road S.8.

11:16 a.m. A female inmate was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Wednesday, April 27

1:20 a.m. A deputy assisted a state trooper investigate a car crash involving a cow in the 23000 block of Colorado Highway 491.
