5:47 p.m. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend took her pain medication in the 17600 block of Road 27.6.

Tuesday, April 5

5:45 p.m. A man claimed that a man stole his wallet, broke his windows and put a snake in his residence in the 6600 block of Road 25. A deputy was attempting to contact a witness.

Thursday, April 7

12:33 p.m. A woman reported that a woman cut down her cider tress in the 15200 block of County Road 24. A deputy contacted the apparent suspect and was attempting to match chopped trees to their stumps.

Friday, April 8

11:50 a.m. A woman was issued a summons for fourth-degree arson after her controlled burn got out of control and destroyed some of her neighbors vegetation in the 14100 block of Road 26.

Saturday, April 9

3:54 p.m. Two men were arguing in the 6600 block of Road 25. No charges were pursued.

Sunday, April 10

6:12 p.m. A man was issued summons for criminal mischief, breaking a gate and adjusting flow of water in the 20900 block of Colorado Highway 491.

Monday, April 11

4:17 a.m. A man was arrested and cited for third-degree assault and domestic violence after his wife reported him for hitting her and throwing her on the ground in the 28700 block of Road N.

Thursday, April 14

9:11 a.m. A deputy issued a writ of restitution in the 1200 block of North Mildred Road.

10:59 a.m. A woman reported that her car was stolen in the 38000 block of U.S. Highway 160. There were no leads or suspects.

2:21 p.m. A woman was cited for check fraud after she issued checks at Montezuma County Clerks Office, 140 W. Main St.

Friday, April 15

8:16 p.m. A man’s gun reportedly misfired and struck a car windshield in the 200 block of South Fourth Street. No charges were pursued.

11:58 a.m. A verbal argument occurred between a married couple in the 800 block of South Chestnut Street. The couple were separated, and no charges were pursued.

Saturday, April 16

7:32 p.m. A woman was taken into custody on outstanding warrants after she was on the scene of a verbal argument in the 15200 block of Road 22.

7:59 a.m. A deputy assisted a state trooper as he took a man into custody for drunken driving in the 16000 block of Road G.

Sunday, April 17

2:50 a.m. A woman was cited for harassment, domestic violence and reckless endangerment after a physical altercation in the 19200 block of Road 15. Another woman involved was issued summons for harassment.

3:07 p.m. A man reported that his son felt threatened by a dog on the loose in the 23100 block of Road N.4. No charges were pursued.

8:25 p.m. A deputy assisted a state trooper as he took a man into custody for drunken driving after the man was reportedly involved in an accident near the 22400 block of Road L.

8:51 p.m. An intoxicated woman was taken into custody after she reportedly collided with a delineator post in the 400 block of North State Street. She was issued a summons for drunken driving, reckless driving and having an open container.
