2:30 p.m. A manager reported that a man attempted to steal motor oil and made threats at the General Store, 300 Central Ave. The manager wanted the man trespassed from the store. Deputies were unable to find him.
7:07 a.m. A property owner reported that his gate had been damaged in the 13000 block of Road 20. He was sending deputies a copy of surveillance footage.
2:19 p.m. Two women reported a fire in the area of the 9500 block of Road 29.1. Dispatch informed deputies that a controlled burn was called in for trash in the area. The property owner reported that she did not call it in. No charges were pressed.
7:24 a.m. A man was arrested on a warrant in the 6700 block of Road 25 after he was reported for being disheveled and having a contusion on his head. The man claimed he found a body at his friend’s house, a claim that deputies determined was unfounded.
10:42 p.m. Two female inmates were cited for third-degree assault after a sergeant observed them fighting on surveillance footage at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:41 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend threatened to kill her in the 200 block of Railroad Avenue. The woman’s grandfather told the deputy that the man had been violent with her before. The deputy was seeking a warrant for the man.
12:32 p.m. Two people reported a trespasser in the 1100 block of Railroad Avenue in Dolores. The man was cited for third-degree criminal trespass.
6:10 p.m. A man reported that someone stole items from his storage unit in the 26900 block of Road M. A deputy attempted to contact the owner of the storage facility to investigate.
4:12 p.m. A man was cited for speeding and driving without insurance nor registration in the 25000 block of Road H.
5:58 p.m. A woman reported that she lost her wallet in the 1000 block of Railroad Avenue.
10:36 p.m. A woman reported that her father’s horse trailer was stolen from her residence in the 22100 block of Road P. A neighbor reportedly witnessed the trailer leaving but did not think it was suspicious. There were no other leads.
3:23 p.m. Two men reported each other for harassment in the 10200 block of U.S. Highway 491 and at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. Both men had witnesses reporting conflicting stories. Neither man was charged.
5:39 a.m. A woman was arrested on warrants after a reported argument in the 5600 block of Road 25.
8:40 a.m. A man was pulled over in the 13000 block of Colorado Highway 145 was cited for canceled license.
8:46 p.m. A man reported that a semitrailer ran him off the road and drove away in the 19800 block of Colorado Highway 145. Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation.
11:27 a.m. A man was cited for speeding and driving without insurance or registration in the 2400 block of Hawkins St.
3:28 p.m. A woman reported that she lost her driver’s license in the 100 block of South Sixth Street.
3:55 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 28300 block of Road K.2.
4:01 p.m. A sergeant took custody of a man who was hiding in an abandoned building in the 37100 block of U.S. Highway 160 after he was reported for throwing a woman out of a moving car. The man was issued summons for domestic violence and third-degree assault.
6:50 p.m. A woman was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
11:26 p.m. A man was cited for speeding in the 9000 block of U.S. Highway 491.
10:30 a.m. A woman was cited for animal cruelty after she reportedly left two puppies in the lower 100 block of Central Avenue. The puppies were taken to an animal shelter in Cortez.
11:48 a.m. A couple reported that their adopted daughter was threatening and harassing them in the 12700 block of Road 21. A lieutenant sought a warrant for the girl for felony menacing, third-degree assault, criminal mischief and violation of a protection order.
12:44 a.m. A woman reported that her sister was being abused by her boyfriend in the 19400 block of Road 22. Because the woman was not cooperative, the deputy could not locate her sister. The deputy could not contact the boyfriend.
11:17 a.m. Two men were served with warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:29 p.m. Three male inmates were cited for third-degree assault after a detention staff reported in the showers at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
5:09 p.m. A deputy observed a dog barking and growling in the middle of the road in the 28300 block of Road K.2. The dog owner was cited for having an animal at large.
10:05 p.m. A man was arrested for drunken driving after a deputy pulled him over for having an unlit headlight in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
5:07 p.m. A woman turned in a found cellphone at Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Ave.
5:57 p.m. A woman reported a car crash in the 16400 block of Road G. She reported that those involved were intoxicated and had a gun. Bureau of Indian Affairs officers took over the investigation.
8:41 a.m. A woman reported that her passport went missing at the Baymont Inn, 2279 Hawkins St.
1:28 p.m. A man was arrested in the 43300 block of Road M after his wife reported that he strangled and struck her. He was cited for second-degree assault, menacing and domestic violence.
4:07 p.m. A woman reported that she lost her phone in the 28300 block of Road K.2.
5:26 a.m. A woman reported that her car was stolen in the 21400 block of Road 19. Deputies did not find it.
9:46 a.m. A man was cited for harassment after surveillance footage showed that he grabbed and punched a driver in the 24100 block of Road G.
