Sunday, Dec. 12

10:54 p.m. A male driver was pulled over after a woman reported him for weaving and failing to maintain the lane in the 28800 block of U.S. Highway 160. The man did not complete roadside maneuvers satisfactorily. He was taken into custody and issued summons for drunken driving with a revoked license.

Thursday, Dec. 16

7:04 a.m. A stolen car was recovered and returned after a deputy noticed it was abandoned in the 6000 block of Road 21.

3:44 p.m. An accident occurred when a woman’s car collided with a rock in the road in the lower 100 block of Colorado Highway 145.

Sunday, Dec. 19

10:09 a.m. A man reported that his friend was suicidal in the 10700 block of Road 35.6. The apparent suicidal man’s girlfriend told deputies that he was drunk and physically violent with her the night before. The deputy took the man into custody after they spotted his car. He was issued summons for second-degree assault, criminal mischief, drinking and driving, having an open alcoholic container and domestic violence.

6:40 p.m. An inmate was issued a summons for harassment after she reportedly struck another inmate in the neck at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Monday, Dec. 20

9:06 p.m. A deputy assisted a Mancos marshall deputy as he took a man into custody for drunken driving in the 39000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Tuesday, Dec. 21

6:39 p.m. A woman was served two warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:21 p.m. A woman was issued a summons for driving an uninsured vehicle after she ran a stop sign in the 11000 block of Road 25. Her insurance had reportedly expired in Jan. 2021.

Wendesday, Dec. 22

2:31 p.m. A man was served an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:48 p.m. A woman reported that another woman was harassing and threatening her online in the 19200 block of Road 22. A deputy found the report to be unfounded.

4:37 p.m. A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, Dec. 23

10:40 a.m. One break-in and one bicycle theft occurred within a few minutes of each other near the 12700 block of Road G. There were no leads.

3:12 p.m. A man was taken into custody after he was reportedly violent and refusing to leave his ex-wife’s residence in the 13600 block of Road 29. He was issued summons for harassment and domestic violence.

4:31 p.m. An anonymous citizen dropped off meth and paraphernalia at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

5:34 p.m. A woman reported that one of her employees was stealing Gabapentin pills from the Montezuma Veterinary Clinic, 10411 U.S. Highway 491. Video surveillance confirmed the woman’s report. The employee was taken into custody and issued summons for theft.

10:41 p.m. A woman was served an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, Dec. 24

7:23 a.m. A deputy assisted a Mancos marshall deputy as he took a man into custody for drunken driving in the 300 block of North Willow Street.

Sunday, Dec. 26

2:19 a.m. A resident reported that his laptop was stolen in the 6100 block of Road 25 after he tracked the IP address to the Holiday Inn Suites in Durango. The resident suspected a man who was doing housework with him a few days before. There were no other leads.

Tuesday, Dec. 28

11:26 a.m. A man was served an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:47 a.m. A man was taken into custody on a warrant at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 North Park St.

3:25 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant in the 24100 block of Road G.
